Nicholas Warren Consultant

Nick Warren holds degrees in Arts (BA) and Law (LLB) from Sydney and Macquarie University. He has been actively involved with playground and sports surfacing for over 8 years, and founded PlayCover with the objective of promoting a competitive service for the Sports & Play Safety surfacing industry, whilst ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Ben Builder/Installer/Designer

Ben Warren holds qualifications in carpentry (Dip Carpentry) and building (Clerk of Works), and brings his enthusiasm and dedication to our team. He has a diverse range of skills, from synthetic grass and rubber surfacing installations to decking, concreting and play equipment construction. He is recognised for his eye for detail and his ability to design unique and innovative products. This year he will be combining work with his studies in design at Sydney University.

Simon

Simon Gilleon is a licensed excavation operator with skills in bobcat operations (1-5 tonne) and backhoe excavation. He is a specialist in sub base preparation for sports and playgrounds. He is also a qualified plant mechanic and has skills in artificial lawn installation, rubberised softfall wet pour, and project management. His motto is it’ all for the kids.

David

David holds qualifications in Architecture from Newcastle University and specialises in commercial construction design as well as preschool and playground design. His current design for City Childcare Centre is nearing completion at Leichart. He is available for preschool building design, playground design and for the drafting of playground layout and scaled drawings.

Scotty Installer

Scott first started installing play and sports surfaces, over 8 years ago. He is an experienced rubber troweller and installer of synthetic turf systems and rubberised soft fall. His enthusiasm and hard work is legendary and his cheerful nature is an encouragement to all.

Mike Consultant

Mike Curtis, is a licensed builder with over 20 years experience in commercial and residential buildings including preschools and schools. He has skills in project management, preschool construction and general building consultancy.

Steve

Steve is a qualified horticulturalist specialising in landscaping and rubberized surfacing installations, with experience in rubber softfall and artificial lawn. He has a cheerful and enthusiastic approach, and enjoys a challenge and brings a refreshing energy to the team.

Craig Installer

Craig Bachelor is a qualified engineer who left his job in the UK to pursue his dream of building a yacht to sail around the world. When he is not sailing or working on his yacht, he loves applying his technical skills to the installation of play surfaces and rubberised edging. He brings an eye for detail and an enthusiasm to the team that is contagious.

Mat

Mat Hall replaces our previous Mat. Mat Hall, is a young up and coming playground installer with skills in rubberised softfall and synthetic grass surfacing. Although in his early twenties, he is proving to be a dedicated and conscientious synthetic grass and rubber soft fall installer. Matt Hall is a cheerful chap, who grumbles far less than his predecessor.

Benny

Benny Parsons started installing softfall playgrounds and sports surfacing when he was just 16. Now, 7 years later he is an experienced synthetic grass installer with skills in applied rubberised surfaces and synthetic grass installations. He is a skilled heavy machinary operator with a specialty in base preparation and excavation.

Wick

Occasionally we have the privilege of working with one of the best and most respected soft fall rubber layers in the country. Wick from Wick’s Wetpour Rubber Surfaces is a rubber consultant and installer who is a pioneer of rubber surfacing in NSW. More importantly he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and is held in very high regard by our team.
